Did I mention the fact that the Avengers movie gave me all of the feels I’m humanly capable of feeling and more?

before reading any further, please take note that this post is full of spoilers.

Spoilers, everywhere.

all of the spoilers.

COULSON, WHY?

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY?

I don’t care that you were a movie!verse-based character—You were a part of this team, goddammit. slkfjlsdkjfldkjf

and and and how cute he was when he met Cap alskdlkdflkjdf

and the trading cards all in mint condition

slkfjkldsjflkdjf

Why did you do this to us, Loki? Why? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love you like no other, but you are the biggest little shit to ever exist, ever.

LOKI, YOU ARE THE REASON WHY WE CAN’T HAVE NICE THINGS.

I actually started tearing up and had to force the tears back due to the fear of my make-up running (which I was wearing shit-tons of in order to look manly and much more tan that I actually am). This was also the case for when Tony almost went and died on us—even though I knew they wouldn’t kill Tony off, I just, I couldn’t help it.

Speaking of Tony—

OHMYGOD

DID ANYONE ELSE SEE STEVE GRABBING ONTO TONY’S HIPS?

THAT WASN’T JUST MY MIND PLAYING TRICKS ON ME, WAS IT?

NO?

OH, OKAY.

GOOD.

Although Tony never called Steve “Wing-Head”, I guess I can get over it. Capsicle was good, and the way he picks on the poor boy is just Tony’s way of showing that he likes him.

While there were quite a few lovable CapTony moments, I will admit that I was secretly shipping Banner with Stark throughout this entire movie. I mean, generally I just like them being totes bros and all, but, I couldn’t help but want to ship it in this movie. lsjlksjdflkdj

Did anyone else notice how easily Thor is manipulated by Loki and his fake sentimental feelings? He wants to believe his brother so bad, and I just can’t handle it. THEY GOT SO CLOSE TO ONE ANOTHER AT SO MANY POINTS THROUGHOUT THIS MOVIE TOO, OMG.

and and and

Cap and how innocent he is and how unknowing he is to the world around him—and then Tony being all “this is what the world’s like now, Steve. I can show it to you; teach it to you.” and can you say s-w-o-o-n-i-n-g?

ALSO, THAT TIME AFTER CLINT SNAPPED OUT OF LOKI’S CONTROL AND HE WAS IN THAT ROOM WITH NAT, ALONE—THOSE TWO TOTALLY GOT IT ON RIGHT BEFORE FURY (I THINK?) CAME IN AND WAS ALL “LET’S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS”.

The Avengers: The movie in which I ship all the things I ship on the sides more so than I normally do. Or rather, it brought to light just how much I actually enjoyed those ships but chose not to notice them as much as I probably should have.

Now I’m back on board my Clint/Nat ship as opposed to my preferred Bucky/Nat—omg, since when did I ship het?

OH, HAVE I YET MENTIONED THAT HULK WAS FUCKING AWESOME?

BECAUSE, HE IS.

lskdjflskdjflkdjf and and and that part where he’s slamming Loki all over the place, showing the little fucker who’s boss was golden. Not to mention when Hulk punches Thor out of nowhere. slkdfjsldkfkldjf

Okay, anyway.

[this is where I stop fangirl gushing and talk a bit more seriously]

On a more serious note, though, I just want to point out how incredible this entire cast is and how well their characters played off of one another. I mean, really, could you guys be any more perfect?

I also loved how each character was treated equally, no one got the short end of the stick in this movie. This was something I was worrying about for quite some time, thinking that Nat and Clint were more than likely going to get washed away by the likes of Thor, Cap, Tony and possibly even Banner.

Which brings up another point; Ruffalo’s Banner was flawless, imo—Not that anyone else’s wasn’t, but I mean, we haven’t seen his Hulk in action yet, so we had even less knowledge as to what to expect from him. And in all honesty, I think I prefer him over Norton by far.

Another thing about Hulk I found more enjoyable was his size. They kept it quite reasonably big as opposed to holyshitfuck!big, which I think was a smart choice to make.

Oh, and, just out of curiosity, did anyone else find Pepper’s role in the movie incredibly lackluster and boring? I mean, I love the way they interact with one another, but this time, it just.. didn’t feel right? And I’m not saying this because of my CapTony OTP ship that sailed eons ago; I genuinely liked movie!verse Tony/Pepper. Comic-wise, forget about it, I have bitter feelings for her in the comics for multiple reasons.

SKLFJSLKDJFLKDJF

I FORGOT TO MENTION THE ENDING.

Does this mean we’re going to have the Kree/Skrull war?

or at least possibly have a leading up to the Illuminati? I mean, there is a Doctor Strange movie in the making.

maybe we’ll get that Civil War movie after all?

If we just remain patient as we did for this movie.

And on that note, I’m going to bed. Tomorrow is Free Comicbook Day and there’s going to be some party thing in celebration of the local shop’s fortieth birthday, too! And also, sorry if that made absolutely no sense. I’m kind of… Haven’t slept at all this week so I’m not able to words right. Plus, Avengers. So much to talk about and I’m sure I’ve left out so many things. But that’s okay, I’m going to see it at least twenty more times anyway. Haha, no. Really.

So, The Avengers movie. How do words?

I’ll talk all about it tomorrow, but now I must make my installation piece for my model which is due by 1PM tomorrow. So, audios amigos!
