Reblogging so I’ll hopefully look back at this and remember to do it when I have a chance to.
I have come back to you.
So, I had a pretty awesome weekend at A-Fest, and I am just now going to tell y’all about it.
I got to cosplay with my friend Vivian as Yukio Okumura (Ao no Exorcist) and Barnaby Brooks Jr. (TIGER & BUNNY). On the last day, I wore my Captain America clothes that I wore to the premier, but I found actual wing hair clips (granted they were Gaiafag wings, but who the hell cares). One guy asked if I was “Lazy Captain America” and I replied with, “Hell yeah, I am. And now that I have my wings, I am complete!”. lol.
Even though my Barnaby didn’t look the best thanks to the shitty wig and not having correctly colored boots, I think I did alright. My Yukio wig kind of sucked too, which was pretty unexpected of such a simple wig. My friends had ordered it and we didn’t open the package until right at the con. But we managed to salvaged it for what we could, and I didn’t look too bad.
Got lots of pictures taken for our Ao no Exorcist cosplay—everyone in the group was just wonderful. I had tons of fun. Same goes with all of the TIGER & BUNNY cosplayers, even if I did feel overly insecure about myself. (ffff. I loved both of those Ivans so hard as well as the Kotetsu who made all of those beautiful faces (her Barnaby too!).)
Oh! Did I mention I met Thor? A guy working at the hotel who was regulating the elevators looked like him. I took a picture of him too. His female co-worker offered to take a picture of the two of us, and I couldn’t resist. He thought it was funny so it was all good.
Aside from that I had fun being a geek and chatting it up with people who liked comic books.
WHICH REMINDS ME.
One night I went downstairs with the friends I was rooming with to buy a drink. I was wearing my Iron Man PJs and this dude on there was like, “Nice pajamas, Iron Man is pretty cool. I hate to say this though, but, Spider Man could totally kick his ass.” My response: “Oh no you di-in’t.” We went at it for a bit, throwing scenarios around in which our choice hero would kick the other’s ass.
Then a few other girls got on the elevator and died when they saw my PJs. They too agreed that Iron Man could pwn Spidey’s ass. I also mentioned that it was highly impossible for Spidey to win considering that Peter Parker was Tony and Steve’s love child. His face was priceless; a mix of “how the fuck could that happen” and “dear god, why?”.
For some reason we stopped on a random floor, there were people but no one entered, before it closed all the way we stopped the door and ask who would win:Spider Man or Iron Man. Their Responses: Hulk, Iron Man, and I think one said Thor. lololol.
Good times my friend, good times.
snap bracelets making a comeback!
OH MY GOD YES PLEASE
I really want these!
These would be so great to have for mine and Vivi’s cosplay! hnnngh.

He kind of makes me think of Wolverine. Kind of… Though, the more I look at his face, the more I regret saying this. orz
